NO LIVE FEEDING IS IN THIS VIDEO
In this video i will be going over my snakes in general, how i feed them, how much i feed them, how often i feed them, and where i feed them. I own 2 ball pythons, both female. my oldest is named Mashuga and she is just your regular ball python morph. The other is Mary Jane, she is my youngest. I'm not sure what morph Mary Jane is i believe that she is a pastel but not 100% on that. I only feed my snakes every 2 weeks, a lot of people feed theirs every week so that they can get to a good breeding size at about 5-6 months of age which is about 500 grams in weight. I feed mine slowly because if you feed them too much too fast it will shorten their life span (30-50 years) and i intend to keep mine for as long as possible. Now feeding them every week is not bad at all it all comes down to how big you want your snake to be and how fast. Ball pythons are actually very picky eaters and if they are full will refuse to eat. Ball pythons also fast in the winter months, so if your lil lady or man inst eating as much at this time it is perfectly normal. For younger snakes bellow 6 months it is very important that they eat EVERY WEEK. If your snake refuses to eat (because sometimes they do) you can wait a few days but you shouldn't let them go to two weeks without eating. You may need to force feed them.
